Growing Thyme in your Garden

Plant thyme in well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight. Water consistently, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Fertilize sparingly with a low-nitrogen fertilizer to avoid stimulating excessive foliage growth. Prune thyme regularly to encourage bushy growth and prevent it from becoming woody. Harvest thyme by snipping sprigs as needed, leaving some foliage for the plant to continue growing.
