Sowing seeds indoors allows for an early start and healthier seedlings. Start by using a high-quality seed-starting mix in clean containers with proper drainage. Plant seeds at the recommended depth and maintain consistent moisture by misting the soil. Place the containers in a warm, well-lit area, or use a grow light. Once the seedlings have developed their first set of true leaves, transplant them into larger pots. Harden off seedlings gradually before transitioning them to the outdoors.
