Keeping Petunias Thriving All Season

Plant petunias in rich, well-drained soil and provide at least 6 hours of sunlight daily. Deadhead faded blooms to promote new growth and flowering. Water petunias deeply but allow the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Fertilize petunias every 2-3 weeks with a water-soluble fertilizer. Watch out for aphids and caterpillars, and treat them promptly.
