Proper Watering for Lilies

When watering lilies, it is important to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water deeply at the base of the plants, avoiding wetting the leaves to prevent fungal diseases. Mulch around the lilies to retain moisture and regulate the soil temperature. During dry spells, increase the frequency of watering, but always ensure the water drains well. It is also beneficial to water lilies in the early morning or late evening to minimize evaporation. Remember to reduce watering in the late summer as lilies enter dormancy.
