Roots Watering Tips

Water plant roots deeply and infrequently to encourage deep root growth. Use a soaker hose or drip irrigation system to water roots directly at the base of plants. Mulch around plants to retain soil moisture and regulate root temperature. Avoid overwatering roots to prevent waterlogged soil and root rot. Check soil moisture levels by sticking your finger into the soil before watering.
